You can enter the Dieppe Dash online using the form below
To enter online complete all relevant information on this form and submit it. Then make payment straight away online. When your payment is received and all the safety information is completed, your entry will be marked as completed. If you make an error in the entry and wish it to be corrected, please e-mail the Admin Team.
Please note that this is entry for the rally / race to Dieppe. It also includes 3 nights mooring fees in Dieppe, arrival buffet, prize giving, Saturday night party and much more as previous dashers know! Any races back from Dieppe are organised by the separate participating yacht clubs.
The fees for this entry are as follows:
Late Entry - £148
Entries received after 9am, 2nd May 2024 shall only be accepted subject to the discretion of the organisers.
If you get an error message - refresh the online entry page a couple of times and try again. If it still fails, e-mail the Admin Team with your entry details.
If you have entered the Dieppe Dash before, you may select your boat from the list of boats that have entered in previous years and click the "Choose Boat" button. Make sure you choose the correct boat using the name, sail number and boat type as shown. This will partially complete the online form with details you supplied in a previous year. Please check and alter the details as required before submitting the main form.
If you have not entered the Dieppe Dash before, click the "New Entry" button and complete the form that shows afterwards.
If you make a mistake, click the "Clear Form" button.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Information
Storage of Information
All of the information you provide in completing the online entry form will be stored on BMYC computers so that we can manage your entry to Dieppe Dash, this includes:
- contacting you prior to the event to confirm your entry or to resolve any queries regarding your entry
- assigning your boat to the correct entry type (Cruising, Motor or Racing)
- confirming Safety Information to be passed on to HM Coastguard in an emergency
- confirming boat information for our on-site event management team for use whilst your boat is at sea
- sending necessary information to you and to respond to your queries
- if racing, checking your eligibility for Racing and prizes
Online Payment
If paying online via payment card:
- on selecting online payment a secure payment portal will open on screen. The payment portal is operated by Stripe, a specialist online payment company https://stripe.com/gb
- None of your payment details are stored on BMYC computers.
Public Information
A subset of your information will be stored on Dieppe Dash website:
- limited information will be made publicly available so that you, your fellow participants and other visitors can see who has entered Dieppe Dash. This information will be limited to your boat details, the name which you have chosen to be publicly displayed (which may be your own name), entry type; and racing class and race details (if racing).
- after Dieppe Dash we will publish results of the race. This information will be limited to your boat details, elapsed time, corrected time and finish position.
- personal contact information will not be displayed publicly.
Usage of Information
We may use your contact details before, during and after Dieppe Dash to provide you with information about Dieppe Dash.
We will make your email address available for a limited time to our official sponsors so that sponsors may contact you; use of your email address in this way will be restricted to the period from the date of your entry to end of the same year. You may change your consent options at time of entering via the online entry form or at any time by contacting us – admin@dieppedash.com.
Retained Information
We will retain your personal information after the event:
- in order to provide you with information about subsequent Dieppe Dash events
- so that you can make an entry to Dieppe Dash in following years without needing to re-enter all of the information.
We will retain the race results information on our website as a historic public record of your participation in, and scoring of, the Dieppe Dash race.
Information Request
You may request to see the personal information that we hold about you at any time and/or request that such personal information is deleted.
On proceeding with online entry it is deemed that you have expressly provided your consent for Dieppe Dash organisers to use your information as set out above.
